Fusion Inclusion is a weekday enrichment & activity club, and mentorship programme, for adults with learning difficulties / disabilities and autism, and is designed to offer fun and enjoyable enrichment sessions, and ongoing lifestyle support, in a relaxed environment.
All our sessions are led by Anthony, our Director and lead activity coordinator. Anthony is a fully qualified former teacher in the special educational needs sector, is trained in delivering music therapy, drone piloting, and has a background in sport, fitness and music.
A huge focus of our service is the encouragement and cultivation of socialisation, communication, confidence building, friendships and community. We promote and believe in tolerance, and acceptance, so that each member can feel valued and welcome in their peer group; free from judgement.
The encouragement of independence and self-advocacy are at the heart of everything that we do, and we instill the confidence and belief in each member that they are their own person, and encourage them to live as such.
We also have a heavy focus on activity and using physical interaction to stimulate, engage and inspire.
Our sessions can be on a casual basis, or can be designed to target an individual and their specifically designated needs or outcomes, whether that be from an EHCP or other care plan.
We visit a local gym several times per week, as fitness and wellbeing plays a huge part in what we do.
Our School of Rock, sessions are lots of fun; where we run music themed activities, comprising of learning the acoustic, electric and bass guitar, and drums, as well as vocal training by an experienced, gigging rock band singer.
We use the latest software and hardware to deliver quality workshops, teaching new skills, encouraging, inspiring and drawing out the creative side of each member. We then record performances and mix the tracks to create a final song in our mini pop up recording studio.
We can also offer Fusion Employability Sessions, where we run casual, non-accredited workshops on the fundamentals of preparing for work, searching for a job, CV building, interview skills and more.
Every Monday and Friday, we are based at the Heath Conference Centre in Runcorn, Cheshire, and the rest of the week, we run many activities outside, such as meals out, football sessions, walks, cinema trips, park and beach visits, culture focus and visits out in the local and wider community.
Activities can be as basic or as complex as required, with each activity giving each member the opportunity to not only relax and enjoy, but to also learn about and develop their understanding of each activity, and themselves.
Daily sessions take place from 9.00am - 3.00pm, are priced at £80.00, and you can self fund, or use direct payments.
STAFF are experienced, trained, qualified, and have been cleared through the ENHANCED DBS system.
We are also commissioned by Cheshire West & Chester & Halton Borough Council local authorities, as an authorised service supplier.
Please note: We cannot currently offer services to those requiring 1:1 support at this time, and we are currently unable to allow private carers / support staff to join sessions.
